We want Glover out

Well I don't. Not yet anyway, but it seems that a majority of Vale fans do.

A 1-0 defeat at home to Lincoln is not exactly the best way to spend a Firday evening, but it also means I don't have to put up with the noisy neighbours either.

A rather scrambled goal effort was all it took for the Imps to grab three points. However they did have an effort disallowed. I still haven't worked out why.

Glover's subsititions left much to be desired. Taking off our only real attacking player of the evening in Kyle Perry and replacing him with centre half John McCombe. It nearly became an isnpired substitution when he hit the bar with minutes to spare.

But such is life at Vale Park just lately.

Rousing chants of "We want Glover out", "You don't know what you're doing" and "Sack the board" can't have gone unnoticed by the powers that be in Burslem - but you never quite know what that lot in charge.

Luton at home next weekend offers little comfort. They financial plight and points deduction is the story of League Two and Vale will need to up their game ten fold if they are to escape from the worst six teams in English Football tag they hold at present.

Glad all over, well maybe not tonight

  1. The goal was disallowed because the corner curled out as it came in I believe!
