Valiants lose out



Port Vale have missed out on the services of midfielder Peter Till as he opted for a move to join York City.
The 24 year-old turned down an offer from the Valiants as well as a deal from League Two rivals Burton Albion, to team up with former Vale boss Martin Foyle.

He told Vital York that one of his main reasons for the move to Bootham Crescent was Martin Foyle's influence at the club.

New Signing



Port Vale have agreed a deal with forward Justin richards from Cheltenham Town. The 15 goal striker will sign for the Valiants on July 1st when his deal at Cheltenam is due to expire.

This will give the Micky Adams' side a Richards partnership up front with Marc Richards putting pen to paper on a new deal a few weeks ago.

New Kit Unveiled

Port Vale have today launched the images of next season's home kit designed by Vandanel.

The replica kit is scheduled to be on sale by July. but the kit makers are currently amid rumours that they are in liquidation.

Vale boss takes player on trial

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has taken Nantwich Town defender Ritchie Sutton on trial over the summer break and could be set to make a move for the 24 year-old.

It's the second time Adams has delved into the non-league market having secured goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson from Barrow last week.
