You can send your nominations to awards@football-league.co.uk.

The Football League

This site has now set up a link with The Football League who are providing me wiht all sorts of different iformation regarding Port Vale and The Football League itself.

Today they have announced a poll to compile the greatest League Cup moments as the competito reaches it's 50th birthday.
Over recent seasons Port Vale haven't had much luck in the competition but this year got to the 3rd Round after wins Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday. While in 2006/07 they reached the 4th round eventually bowing out at White Hart Lane to Premier League opponents Tottenham Hotspur.

But fans may still remember so great cup moments and you can register your vote Here

Lincoln

Vale travel to Lincoln tonight in the first game of an action packed December.
Geoff Horsefiled and Louis Dodds will be looking forward to a return to the club where they kick started their football careers.
While the Imps have former Vale midfielder Chris Herd who is enjoying another spell on loan from Aston Villa.

Midfielder Tommy Fraser serves the last game of his three match suspension. Defender Gareth Owen is out as he still recovers from a fractured cheekbone that has recquired surgery.

This will be the last game of Lewis Haldane's loan spell from Bristol Rovers but he may only have a few weeks to wait for a return to Vale Park should Mickey Adams choose to sign him when the transfer windown opens in January.
