This Saturday will kick off the week long campaign supporting The Football League Charity of the 2009/10 season, Help for Heroes.
All 72 League Clubs will take part in events which will involve highly publicising the great cause.
Port Vale's support to the charity will come this weekend with their game at home to Northampton Town.
The two teams will emerge, behind a Help for Heroes banner and pose for photos ahead of kick off, both managers will be wearing Help for Heroes wrist-bands and the home team will sign a ball which will then be auctioned off for the charity.
Football League bucket collections will be around the ground also so dig deep and give generously.
