The Supporters Club met for the first time in a number of months on Monday evening to discuss latest goings on at the club.
There was a varied agenda and a letter will now be submitted to the club outlining the points and issues raised that recquire a response from the club. These issues will be discussed, fingers crossed, at the next board meeting in the next few weeks as pointed out by director Mike Lloyd who attended the meeting.
He gave a good account of himself after some fans had become disillusioned following the club's AGM back in December.
He was keen to interact with fans, answered every question he possibly could and even gaguged fans opinions.
But perhaps the most positive of news to come out of the meeting was the supporters club has raised £22,000 over the last 12 months via donations and bucket collections, with that money going towards the completion of the Sproson Statue which is to be unveiled at Vale Park at some point in the near future.
The SC will know wait for the reply to their letter and the outcomes will be discussed at the next meeting on Monday March 1st at The Leopard, Burslem with a
